Courtney Culham is a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of health care experience. After working as a Registered Nurse for several years, she pursued a Masters Degree in Nursing and Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Diploma at the University of Calgary. Since 2011, she has worked in a primary care clinic in downtown Calgary servicing the vulnerable. In addition to this practice, she works for both private and public inpatient treatment centres caring for patients with concurrent mental health and substance use disorders. Previously, she has worked in acute pain, private medical and pharmaceutical sales, as well as with diverse populations including professional athletes and those living in remote rural communities including the Northwest Territories. Her other current interests are improving the delivery of care for the perinatal mental health population, as well as helping to develop graduate level curriculum for other Nurse Practitioners. She is grateful for the opportunities she has been given to be trained and mentored by some of the most respected mental health clinicians in Calgary. When she is not working you will find her enjoying mother nature in all her glory with her family and friends.
